Accessibility statement
We want AutismHub to work for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
What we have done
- A "Skip to content" link on every page.
- Visible focus outlines for keyboard users.
- Labels on every form field, including search and filters.
- Filters that work with a keyboard, and a results count that screen readers announce.
- Text and button colors checked for AA contrast.
- One main heading per page and a logical heading order.
- Reduced motion for people who turn it off in their device settings.
- Links that open a new tab say so to screen readers.
Known limits
- We have checked the site ourselves but have not had a formal outside audit.
- Many listings link to provider and agency websites, and some linked PDFs are from outside sources. We can't control how accessible those are.
- Some listings have incomplete details because providers have not published them.
